Maple Valentine is an Alternative Rock artist from Southampton, England. Taking a DIY approach, they write, record, and produce all their music themselves. Inspired by artists like Weezer, Sparklehorse, and Elliott Smith, they place a particular emphasis on the Mellotron and deeply honest, personal lyrics.

Born on the south coast of England, Maple Valentine was born to a non-musical family. Yet, quickly found their love of music through bands like Queen and Gorillaz. They started making Electronic music with free software on their computer, eventually getting a knock-off Stratocaster with which they learnt music on.

Since 2019 they've released a 7 track EP every April 1st. Starting out as an unserious joke project for fun, it's slowly grown into much more serious music, culminating in JFK, Baby! (2025) being a fully genuine release. With the track 'London' being described as their best ever by fans.

Recently, Maple Valentine has started teasing their next release, with a focus on Europe and particularly The Netherlands. It's slated for release later this year.
